I don't like to use the word diet. As this tends to mean that you go on a diet, which also means you will then come off  the diet too.


This isn’t a diet, what you will learn here will last with you. Yes you will slip sometimes, but your understanding of Mindfulness  and Acceptance Commitment Therapy "ACT" will carry you forward.


10 weeks is recognised as a good length of time to ingrain habits, and to gain a good understanding of how mindfulness works.  


ACT counselling sessions will focuses on 3 areas:

  • Accept your reactions and feelings.

  • Commit to valued direction.

  • Take action in line with your values.




10 Week Mindful Eating

  • The pictures show me before and after I started my Mindfulness Eating journey. I'll let you guess which is which lol. 

  • You don’t have to weigh in with me, but you can if you are happy using Skype

    During your support session we will talk about your week and the challenges you have faced.


    The person that is important to see your progress is you. 

    I would ask you to weigh yourself daily at home, at the same time of day and wearing the same type of clothing. Most peole tend to do this just after they get up dressed in their night wear.


    Yes, I will be here with you throughout the 10 weeks.

    These will be at a pre-arrange at a time that suits both of us. Initially for a 30 minute induction, followed then by 9  x 15 minute  weekly support sessions.
