I don't like to use the word diet. As this tends to mean that you go on a diet, which also means you will then come off the diet too.
This isn’t a diet, what you will learn here will last with you. Yes you will slip sometimes, but your understanding of Mindfulness and Acceptance Commitment Therapy "ACT" will carry you forward.
10 weeks is recognised as a good length of time to ingrain habits, and to gain a good understanding of how mindfulness works.
ACT counselling sessions will focuses on 3 areas:
Accept your reactions and feelings.
Commit to valued direction.
Take action in line with your values.

During your support session.
The person that is important to see your progress is you.
I would ask you to weigh yourself daily at home, at the same time of day and wearing the same type of clothing.
Yes, I will be here with you throughout the 10 weeks.
Either remotely or by you coming to my Shed. This will be at a pre-arrange at a time that suits both of us. Initially for a 30 minute induction, followed then by 9 x 15 minute support sessions.
The support sessions can be either remote by telephone or face to face in The Shed.
